With over 9 years of experience as a personal trainer and coach and 28 years as a player, O’Neil is extremely passionate about the game of soccer. His playing and coaching experience includes TSC ’77 and ’78, Broken Arrow High School, University of Tulsa, Oral Roberts University, Tulsa Express, River City Parks, Tulsa Thunder Soccer Club, OK Texans Soccer Club, and Holland Hall.
Over the years he has earned the reputation for steadily improving the technical ability and tactical awareness of his teams season by season. O’Neil is committed to developing players into confident, skillful, creative, and effective students of the game. By teaching technique, tactics, and decision-making skills, players will learn how to perform at the collegiate level, all the while learning life lessons about character, tenacity, and independent thought.
O’Neil is a firm believer that players who attend team practices, practice on their own, and watch the game are most likely to excel.
