Played for Tulsa Thunder 83 and brought the very first state championship to the club in 1998. Won another State championship for Thunder the next year in 1999.
One of five Oklahomans to ever be invited to the Adidas ESP. Adidas ESP is where the nation’s top 100 recruits perform in front of college, professional and national team coaches.
Competed on the 83” Region III ODP for three years. Attended international festivals with the team and played against U16 Jamaican National team, U16 Costa Rican National team and the U16 Gibraltar National team. 83 Region III ODP team consisted of Clint Dempsey, Ricardo Clark and Ed Johnson who are all currently on the USA national team and who significantly contributed to a 2nd place finish in the most recent Federations Cup.
Then played Division I soccer at Valparaiso University. A full-athletic scholarship award winner that was worth $92,000. 3 year starter and contributed wins against nationally ranked #21 Wisconsin, #17 Bradley, and #19 Michigan State.
Currently head boys coach at Booker T. Washington. First year at BTW, took the team to the 6A play-offs for the school’s first time in 2 years. Second year at BTW, won the 5A State Championship, becoming the youngest high school head coach in Oklahoma to win a State Championship at age 24. Was awarded TulsaWorld coach of the year. Third year at BTW, produced wins against NSCAA nationally ranked Jenks and Union. Was runner-up 5A State Champion. Was awarded the All-state coach for the east side. 4th year at BTW won 3rd consecutive district title and was Runner-up State Champion for the second straight year. Coached NSCAA Oklahoma Player of the Year. Was awarded All-state coach for the second straight year.
