Professional soccer is returning to Tulsa! The Tulsa Drillers have announced that they have purchased majority interest in an expansion franchise in the USL PRO League. The Tulsa team will begin play in the spring of 2015 with home games slated to be played at ONEOK Field.
The Drillers will be majority owners of the new team with Prodigal LLC holding a minority interest in the squad. The USL PRO team will mark the highest level of professional soccer in the city since the Tulsa Roughnecks played their final season in the old North American Soccer League in 1984.
“We are very excited to be involved in bringing a high level of professional, outdoor soccer back to the city of Tulsa,” said Mike Melega. “We feel that Tulsa is a great soccer market, and this return is long overdue.”
The new team will share ONEOK Field with the Drillers. The USL PRO regular season runs from late March through mid August. Playoff games are held during the month of September. In 2014, the USL Pro regular season will consist of 28 matches with each team playing 14 home matches.

Tulsa, OK - The Tulsa Revolution is a professional arena soccer franchise competing in the Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL, www.paslsoccer.com). They will be playing our in their inaugural season in the PASL starting November 2013. The Tulsa Revolution will be a "grass roots" effort with local management and ownership. The players will be comprised of local talent with the intentions of signing a handful of veteran indoor soccer professionals. They intend to partner with local businesses and charities to promote the sport of indoor soccer and help in the continuous growth of soccer in Tulsa.
The Revolution intend to bring the indoor soccer excitement back and field a team that Tulsa can be proud of for years to come...

Tulsa, OK- The Tulsa Athletics will compete in the National Premier Soccer League beginning with the 2013 summer season.
"It is with great pleasure that we introduce ourselves to the NPSL and most importantly to the Tulsa community," Chairman Sonny Dalesandro stated. "Tulsa has an extremely strong soccer community with a rich and vibrant history in the sport."
The NPSL is currently the largest league in the United States, with 61 teams ranging from California to New Hampshire. Tulsa will be competing in the "South-South-Central" division in the 2013 summer season. The team will be comprised of a mixture of former professional and college players and players who are still playing in college.
